[dropcap]W[/dropcap]ith online shopping becoming more dominant in consumer shopping, major brick and mortar stores are feeling it in their bottom line. Even major players in the industry are loosing. It was obvious that Sears in Temecula was feeling it when they starting closing at 8PM, and not even staying open with the same hours as Promenade Temecula.
So now we see the 1st floor completely shut down. So now Sears has streamlined its store to the 2nd floor. Since it’s always about money, don’t anticipate that vacant first floor to stay empty very long. New York based company Seritage has announced that they will redevelop the 1st floor to accommodate Round One Entertainment-A Japanese company that runs retail arcade sites similar to Dave & Busters’.
Round One Entertainment Inc. operates entertainment complexes with various leisure facilities, such as bowling alleys, arcade games, billiards, darts, ping-pong games, and party rooms with karaoke booths. The company is based in City of Industry, California. Round One Entertainment Inc. operates as a subsidiary of Round One Corp.
The Temecula locations is expected to open sometime in Spring 2019.
