French Valley — At 12:22 today, CHP closed both Northbound and Southbound Winchester Road, just North of Auld. The closure is due to a deadly crash that happened earlier today around 10:40 a.m. The crash happened on Winchester Road/SR-79 in the area of Auld Road. According to CHP, there were 3 vehicles involved in the crash and one is confirmed dead at the scene. CHP anticipates the road to be open around 2:30 this afternoon.
