It is with deep regret that we report Jim Nabors, who created one of Televisions funniest characters, Gomer Pyle, died at the age of 87.  Sources reveal Nabors underwent a liver transplant back in 94 shortly after contracting hepatitis B.  According to Nabors Husband, he died peacefully at his home in Hawaii. Nabors was most known for the role as the goofy mechanic on the Andy Griffith show, and the silliest Marine you ever saw on TV sitcom Gomer Pyle.  So long Gomer, we will miss you!
