Murrieta Juvenile Arrested For Making False Bomb Threat

On 1/25/2018 a suspect telephoned the Murrieta Valley High School and made a criminal threat of violence. The School Resource Officer was contacted and as a precautionary measure the campus was placed on a lockdown. Murrieta Police Officers searched the campus for any suspicious people or devices. The search met with negative results for any dangerous devices and the campus was released from the lockdown.

Murrieta Police Officers conducted an investigation and made contact with a student who attends Murrieta Valley High School. The juvenile was ultimately arrested for making criminal threats and a false bomb threat. The juvenile was booked into the Southwest Juvenile Hall.
