On May 15, 2018, at approximately 6:45 A.M., officers from the Wildomar Police Department, responded to the report of a commercial burglary in the 32000 block of Mission Trail, in the City of Wildomar.
The owner of the commercial business reported he had video surveillance of two suspects breaking into the business. Officers arrived and were unable to locate the suspects at the time of the call. At 12:47 P.M., the same business owner reported he saw the suspects and their vehicle near Mission Trail and Sedco Boulevard, City of Lake Elsinore. Officer’s arrived and detained two suspects. The suspects were positively identified from the commercial burglary at the 32000 Block of Mission Trail, City of Wildomar.

The identification of both suspects implicated them in a similar commercial burglary in the City of Lake Elsinore. The commercial burglary in the City of Lake Elsinore occurred on May 6, 2018, file number L181280078. Both suspects were also found to be in possession of marijuana.
The suspects were identified as, Duane Blunt, 40, a local resident and Katrina Blunt, 42, a local resident, were arrested and subsequently booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center in Murrieta for commercial burglary and possession of marijuana. This case is on-going.
