Water Main Break Delays Dodgers Preseason Game

Last nights preseason game between the Dodgers and Angels at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles was delayed because of a water leak on the field.

The leak occurred by the third base dugout in the bottom of the fifth inning with the Dodgers leading the Angels 4-3. Water began to pool nearby the camera well just beyond the dugout and even spilled into the first row.

Sources tell us that a water main break was the cause.  Dodger fans report the water smelled like sewage.

At least it was a pre-season game, but the players who really got hurt were the ones who were minor league players that were hoping to get a chance at bat in a major league ballpark.
